Gerly Adrien is a dynamic woman that started off from humble beginnings in Everett, Massachusetts. Determined to succeed and make a positive impact on the world, Gerly persevered and set off to one of the nation's leading business schools, Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. While there, Gerly won the Bentley University‘s Hartnett Family Business Plan Award and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Distinguished Collegian Scholar. As a proud member of Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, Gerly also served as the past president of the NABA of the Bentley University Chapter, where they received the NABA National Student Chapter Reporting Award, a volunteer as an English teacher in Ghana, Africa to orphans and Career Preparation Fellow with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) in school while receiving her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Management with a Concentration in Accounting. Gerly was then chosen from a highly competitive pool of candidates to work for JPMorgan Corporate & Investment Bank in New York for three years as a Global Fixed Income Cash, SPG, Public Finance & Hedge Funds Risk Management & Controls Analyst.
Gerly successfully balanced the intensity of corporate banking with her community involvement. She is a Board Member, Vice-Chair and Secretary of the The Brooklyn Steppers; a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop a commitment to personal excellence in young people through innovative, quality performance arts education and practical experience in arts-related careers; Former Board President and Board Member of Generations Inspired, Inc.; a non-profit organization focused on empowering youth and young adults to achieve their fullest potential through innovative, interactive, informative, and inspirational programs and Board Member of her former high school, Saint Clements High School, where she is the youngest appointed member. Gerly is also the Founder of Supercali Supplies, which created a Back-to-School Inspirational Event with guest speakers, including the State Representative and educators in South Philadelphia to give backpacks and supplies to more than 100+ youth. 
Gerly has a strong love for public service and politics. This love was on full display as the Campaign Manager of Friends of Isaiah Thomas Political Action Committee, 2015 Philadelphia City Council At-Large Primary Election Campaign. Gerly ran a highly praised campaign, where she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Philadelphia citywide political campaign of Isaiah Thomas for City Council At-Large, including day-to-day operations, the hiring and management of 12 staff, 30 members of the steering committee, more than 10+ volunteers weekly, the coordination and implementation of the fundraising operations by raising more than $200,000 and ongoing coordination with the candidate, Isaiah Thomas. Gerly was responsible for creating and managing the campaign budget, the candidate's priorities and schedule and implemented field, fundraising and media strategies; gained approximately 48,000 votes in landing the 6th spot out of the top 5; gathered 4,500+ petitions; gained more than 30+ endorsements from major labor unions, politicians and community organizations; complied with Campaign Finance Laws; developed and recommended strategies to advance progressive policies, priorities and initiatives. Gerly Adrien is a bright, tenacious and diligent professional, who is compassionate about people and service. She is poised to do great things.
